A Kanawha County man has been arrested for the August rape of a 21-year-old South Charleston woman.
Jesse James Nelson, 31, of Charleston is charged with sexual assault in the second degree.
The attack took place in an apartment on Dorchester Avenue on August 22. That's where the victim was staying with a friend.
Police say Nelson allegedly removed her clothes while she was sleeping and refused to stop when she told him no.
