A taste of Broadway is coming to Kentucky as the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland is scheduled to present West Side Story next month.
The award winning musical follows the story of star-crossed lovers as they work to overcome hatred and intolerance around them.
The musical score is considered to be one of Broadway’s finest and features such classics as "Something’s Coming,” “I Feel Pretty” and “Somewhere.”
The performances are set for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26 at the center located on Winchester Avenue, according to a release from Jenny Holmes, director of marketing and social media with the Paramount Arts Center.
Tickets cost between $40 and $60 and can be purchased online at www.paramountartscenter.com or by calling the box office at 606-324-3175.
