Raleigh County sheriff’s deputies have released the name of a man killed during a fight outside a Raleigh County tavern.
James Williams, 42, of Artie died from his injuries a short time after being shot during a fight at 2 a.m. Saturday at Hillbilly Tavern in Rock Creek, according to a news release from the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office. Donald Moore has been charged with murder in connection with the shooting and is being held in the Southern Regional Jail.
Deputies said the two began arguing inside the bar and went outside, where the suspect shot the victim. Moore turned himself in to authorities.

Deputies say Donald Moore began arguing with the victim inside the bar around 2am. The two went outside and that's when deputies say Moore shot the victim. The man died a short time later from his injuries.
Deputies say Moore turned himself in and is charged with murder. He is currently in the Southern Regional Jail.
