The cause of a fire that heavily damaged a Putnam County home Wednesday remains unknown.
Firefighters say three people lived in the home along Circle Drive in Hurricane, but one teenager was the only person home at the time the fire started about 11:30 a.m. We're also told a family dog made it out safely.
Investigators say the fire appears to have started on the back porch of the home. Flames quickly spread to the roof, causing extensive damage to the residence.
Multiple emergency crews are on the scene of a fully engulfed structure fire.
Dispatchers said the fire broke out just 11:30 a.m. Wednesday on Circle Drive in Hurricane.
Eyewitness News is told no one was believed to be inside that home.
