A fundraiser to benefit the families of the West Virginia troopers slain in the Clay County shooting is scheduled at the South Charleston Memorial Ice Arena.
The event to benefit the families of State Police Cpl. Marshall Bailey and Trooper Eric Workman is set for noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the ice arena, according to a news release from the rink.
There is a $10 cash admission, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go toward helping the families. Silent auctions and raffles are planned.
