One Charleston area business decided to mark the 9/11 anniversary by volunteering.
Its workers pitched in at the Rea of Hope Fellowship Home on Charleston's East End.
The crew from Mr. Handyman of the Kanawha Valley spent the day repairing and improving the home that serves as a safe haven for women overcoming addiction.
It's owner urged other businesses to do the same next 9/11. The action is part of the National Day of Service and Remembrance, which tries to foster community spirit in the wake of the Sept. 11 tragedy.
