A gala is being sponsored to honor the life and family of a steadfast supporter of many arts organizations.
The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and West Virginia Symphony League will host the 2012 Gala “Bloom Where You’re Planted” 6 p.m. Oct. 13. at The Clay Center for the Arts and Sciences. The event will honor the life and family of Mary Price Ratrie.
Mary Price Ratrie was a force in the state of West Virginia. The release said her lasting influence left a significant and positive footprint on the culture of the region. She was a steadfast supporter of many of its arts organizations - especially the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra. Since her passing, the torch has been passed to her children and future generations of Ratries. This gala celebrates her life, her impact and the family that keeps her legacy alive.
The event will open with a cocktail reception followed by a celebration in the grand lobby with food, live music and dancing. Tickets for this event start at $150 per person, and sponsor opportunities are available
