A man in court in a wrongful occupation case, didn’t like what the judge he appeared in front of had to say, so he took off running during the hearing.
Thanks to a Natural Resources police officer, he didn't get very far, and our camera captured his attempted getaway. David Goad ran through the streets of Sutton Monday in Braxton County.
Eyewitness News was told a judge had asked him to sit down during that hearing, but apparently Goad didn't want to cooperate and took off running.
After a short chase, Natural Resources police officer Stewart Simms took him into custody.
The DNR said Goad was charged with obstructing and fleeing on foot.
