A Scioto County, Ohio man is behind bars accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of property from a home in Wheelersburg.
Deputies charged 28-year-old James Lewis with one count of burglary.
Deputies say Lewis broke in the door of the home on Alleghany Hill, and stole $15,000 worth of items.
Officers found Lewis at a home in Sciotoville. He was arrested after trying to run out of the back door.
Lewis is currently in the Scioto County Jail and will appear in Portsmouth Municipal Court on Monday.
