One man is in jail and a woman is in the hospital after a shooting in Pike County, Ky., late last week.
Eric Wolford of Freeburn is charged with one count of assault and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, troopers said. The woman was found shot in the abdomen in the Freeburn Community Friday night. She was taken to a local hospital and listed in stable condition.
Wolford remains in the Pike County Detention Center.
