The man accused of beating a disabled man who later died of his injuries appeared Thursday in Cabell Circuit Court.
Police say Edward Jesse Dreyfuse beat Otis Clay Jr. with a baseball bat inside his West Huntington home in April. Clay died in a Huntington hospital just weeks after the brutal attack.
In Cabell County Circuit Court Thursday, a circuit judge set Oct. 30 as the date when Dreyfuse is to enter a plea or go on trial.
