A Carter County, Ky., woman is in jail after troopers said they discovered marijuana, prescription pills and cash during a safety checkpoint.
Heather Hacker, 35, of Grayson faces a long list of charges including operating a motor vehicle under the influence, drug trafficking, possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon, troopers said.
Troopers said when Hacker entered the checkpoint with her vehicle at the intersection of U.S. 60 and KY 182 late Tuesday night, she was under the influence. That's when they searched the suspect’s car and found the drugs, cash and brass knuckles, troopers said.
Hacker was lodged the Carter County Detention Center.
