If you are already making plans for the Labor Day weekend, you may want to include some exercise and help a good cause.
The annual Good Samaritan Soles 5K Run/Walk is scheduled 8:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 3, starting at Mitch Stadium in Ceredo.
Registration for the event is now $25 until the day of the race. The first 300 participants to register will get a T-shirt.
The Good Samaritan center was established in 1984 to help provide food and monetary assistance for families in need. All proceeds from the race go directly to the center.
