Charleston police officers are conducting a roadside safety checkpoint Monday in the Orchard Manor area.
The checkpoint is scheduled from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., according to a news release from the Charleston Police Department.
City police said the purpose of the checkpoint is to reduce criminal activities and traffic-related problems in the Orchard Manor area.
