No injuries were reported in a Kanawha County house fire Friday morning.
The fire broke out on North Porter Street in Cabin Creek about 11 a.m. Investigators say the fire appears to have started in the kitchen and spread to the attic.
Firefighters say more than half of the home was damaged by fire and the rest of the residence received smoke damage. One person was inside at the time, but got out safely.
Emergency crews were on the scene of a working house fire in Eastern Kanawha County Friday morning.
Metro 911 dispatchers say it happened about 11 a.m. on North Porter Street in Cabin Creek. Witnesses said the house was fully engulfed in flames.
