A man charged with a Mercer County arson pleaded guilty Thursday in Mercer County Circuit Court.
Roger Chandler was initially charged with first-degree arson, but pleaded guilty to lesser charges of third-degree arson in court Thursday, according to the Bluefield Daily Telegraph.
Chandler is charged in the fire that happened in July 2011 at Coppola's Trailer Park in Brushfork. That fire was one of many that plagued the Brushfork area last summer, including three homes and an outbuilding. He has not been charged in those cases.
Chandler remains free on bond and will be sentenced in October.
