Several rallies and a food drive with the collection of nonperishable items are planned for striking workers at Constellium’s aluminum rolling plant in Ravenswood.
The first rally is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at the Steelworkers Union Local 5668’s union hall on state Route 2 in Ravenswood, union member Jim Puccio said Wednesday.
A second rally and a concert are set for noon Sept. 8 at the union hall, Puccio said.
Meanwhile, a food drive with a collection of nonperishable food items will be conducted now through the September rally and concert.
