Two people are facing charges after deputies say they found meth at their Kanawha County mobile home.
Jody Lee Dawson, 38, and Edward Lee Dawson, 47, both of Shrewsbury are charged with attempting to operate a meth lab, according to complaints filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
Members of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department S.T.O.P team and the Kanawha Bureau of Investigation executed a search warrant at the home in the 3000 block of East Dupont Avenue about 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators said they found meth-making materials and some of the finished drug inside that residence. Both men were released on personal recognizance bond of $25,000 each.
