Ohio state troopers will be operating a checkpoint this week looking for impaired drivers.
The county where the checkpoint will be located will be announced the day prior to the checkpoint and the exact location will be announced the morning of the checkpoint, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol advises that residents should make arrangements to have a designated driver before they drink.
Operational support for the sobriety checkpoint will be provided by local law enforcement agencies.
