With the college football season just around the corner, West Virginia University Quarterback Geno Smith is already making a big splash.
The Mountaineer signal caller is one of five Heisman Trophy candidate quarterbacks featured in Sports Illustrated’s college football preview.
Sports Illustrated has created five regional covers, and Smith is among the quintet of stars in the spotlight. Other featured players are Alabama’s A.J. McCarron, University of Southern California’s Matt Barkley, Michigan’s Denard Robinson and Oklahoma’s Landry Jones.
Subscribers should receive their issues this week. It is scheduled to hit newsstands on Monday.
