Boone County sheriff’s deputies say a 7-year-old boy received a life-threatening wound from a pellet gun Tuesday night in Seth.
The boy, who is being treated at a Charleston hospital, apparently was accidentally shot by a juvenile relative at a residence, deputies said.
A deputy said the air guns can fire a small projectile with more speed than some pistol bullets.
