INFANT DEATH INVESTIGATION Seven-Month-Old Found Dead At City Mission

Police are investigating the death of an infant at a Cabell County mission.
Huntington police responded to the Huntington City Mission on 10th Street about 9 a.m. Monday where they found the 7-month-old baby dead.
Eyewitness News is told the mother and infant had been staying at Project Hope, a place for mothers and their children and a part of the Huntington City Mission, for about the last seven months.
The body will be sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy. No charges have been filed in the incident. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News for more on this developing story.
