A man is under arrest for allegedly shooting a man to death during a fight in the parking lot of a Wayne County gas station.
Troopers say a fight broke out in the parking lot of the Rich Oil Gas Station, across from Camden Park, around 11:45pm Saturday.
During the altercation, we are told that 25-year-old Andrew Charles Burgess pulled out a nine-millimeter handgun and shot 40-year-old Thomas Epperly three times in the chest.
Epperly died on the way to the hospital.
We are told Burgess and Epperly did not know each other and police say they are looking into claims of self-defense.
Burgess is charged with first degree murder and is currently in the Western Regional Jail.

A man is shot and killed during a fight at a Wayne County gas station.
It happened at the Rich Oil Station on Waverly Road, in the Wayne County section of Huntington, late Saturday night.
Police have made an arrest. They have have not released the name of the suspect, but Western Regional Jail workers say an Andrew Charles Burgess was booked into the jail overnight on a first degree murder charge from Wayne County.
