Investigators say two people busted in a raid at the Proctorville Flea Market over the weekend were part of a ring of retail thefts in the tri-state.
The Lawrence County drug task force teamed up with several local police agencies to arrest Jeffrey Jones and Lisa Jenkins, both from Proctorville. Jones is the owner / proprietor at the flea market. Police say they believe the group was shoplifting things from local Walgreens, CVS and Rite-Aid stores and selling them for cash to support drug habits.
Jones and Jenkins each bonded out of jail after being arraigned Monday morning. They are charged with engaging in a pattern of corrupt activity.
