Some of the environmental activists arrested Saturday at a Lincoln County coal mine are pleading guilty to trespassing charges today. 20 people were arrested at the Hobet Mine in a weekend protest against mountaintop removal mining.
Several plead guilty to trespassing today and were fined 500 dollars and given a year's unsupervised probation. The protesters were in court trying to get their 25,000 dollar bonds cut when they decided to plead guilty.
