A man expected to be trusted with children is now behind bars after police say he sent sexual text messages to a 12-year old girl.
37-year old Samuel Larry Burkhamer is charged with soliciting of a minor via computer.
Burkhamer is a Kanawha County school bus driver.
State police say Burkhamer exchanged numbers with a young girl on Facebook and proceeded to send her sexual text messages from April until July 5, 2012.
Burkhamer was arrested at the Elkview bus garage on Wednesday afternoon. During questioning, investigators say Burkhamer confessed that he would tell the girl that he would wanted to meet up and have her perform sexual acts on him.
The complaint also says Burkhamer admitted to having child erotica and child pornography on his computer.
