United Steelworkers Turn Down Constellium Contract Offer, Strike Possible

We have an Eyewitness News update on the contract negotiations between Constellium Rolled Products and members of the United Steelworkers Local 5668.
According to a press release from the company, United Steelworkers members have decided not to accept their latest offer.
The old contract expired at midnight on July 15th.
The new contract offered 2% raises every year for five years, but increased medical costs for workers.
Union workers may now authorize leaders to call a strike, but they must give 72 hours notice before doing so.
