A man died after being hit by an SUV in Cabell County early Tuesday morning.
Cabell County Sheriff Tom McComas says it happened around 2:30am in the 2100 block of Route 60 in Culloden. McComas says the victim was either lying or kneeling in the roadway when he was hit. He was pronounced dead at an area hospital.
Deputies believe the victim is a 40-year-old homeless man from Putnam County. His identity has not been released, pending family notification.
