Austin Cox, 21, of Craigsville has been charged in a series of arson fires from January to July in Nicholas County and Summersville. He's held on a 2.7 million dollars bond in the Central Regional Jail.
A special task force of troopers and deputies arrested him. He has been charged in at least 9 of the fires.
Deputies may make at least one additional arrest in the arson wave and have charged Coty Stover with allegedly breaking into a construction firm and stealing paint thinner. He is name as a co-defendant in court documents, but not charged with arson.
