Local movie goers are shocked about the murder of a dozen people at a Colorado movie theater.
Four year old Andrew Runyon and his mother just wanted to check out the new Spiderman movie at Marquee Cinemas in Huntington, but Andrew's mom, Gina, can't help thinking about what happened early Friday morning in Aurora, Colorado.
Eyewitnesses say the suspect, 24 year old James Holmes, was dressed as the Joker, tossed smoke device as a distraction and open fired using a high-powered assault rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol during the attack.
Gina Runyon says, "It's tragic. I just can't believe somebody would do that. I mean innocent lives lost for nothing."
Ten people died at the theater, and two more victims died at the hospital. Nearly 60 others were wounded and injuries range from minor to critical. Holmes was arrested in the parking lot as he left the theater. He is expected to appear in a Colorado courtroom Monday.
