A man accused of beating a disabled man in a wheelchair, who eventually died, had his arraignment in Cabell County Circuit Court Monday afternoon.
Edward Jesse Dreyfuse didn't have much to say on his way out of court. He was arraigned on burlary, assault and murder charges. Police say he beat Otis Clay with a baseball bat over money. Clay died a few weeks later.
Defense attorney John Laishley says his client plans to go to trial. Laishley says another person in the house beat Clay, not Dreyfuse.
