A pair of boxer dogs attack a man, sending him to the hospital. Eyewitness News was the only news crew on the scene as the dogs were taken away.
It happened around 4pm in the 2600 block at Firestone Auto Service on 5th Avenue.
We're told an employee of Firestone was on the parking lot when the dogs began attacking him.
That's when he says he pulled out a knife and began stabbing one of the dogs. That dog died and the other dog was taken to the Animal Control Shelter where he'll be quarantined for 10 days. The victim was taken to an area hospital. No word on the extent of his injuries.
We tried talking to the owner of the dogs, but he refused to comment.
