A Scioto County man is in critical condition after an early morning shooting.
Deputies say it happened just after 3am Monday at a home on Cockrell's Run Road.
That's where deputies found Brian K. McClain, 40, shot. McClain told deputies that suspects shot him, then took off with a large amount of his money.
Detectives believe that the victim knew his attackers and are working to identify suspects.
McClain was taken to Southern Ohio Medical Center and later transferred to a Huntington area hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.
