A teenager is under arrest for allegedly robbing a convenience store.
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies arrested him Monday. They say he robbed the 7-Eleven in Rand early Monday morning.
Witnesses say the teen, approached the night service window and pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding cash and cigarettes. Deputies say they do expect more arrests to come.
Still no arrest in an early morning convenience store robbery. It happened at the 7-Eleven in Rand just after 1am Monday.
Witnesses say a man approached the night service window and pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding cash and cigarettes. The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20's and he was wearing a white hoodie and dark pants.
Deputies are reviewing surveillance video in hopes of identifying the suspect. Stay tuned to Eyewitness News for the latest on this developing story.
Kanawha County Deputies are investigating an early morning convenience store robbery.
