A man is dead after he was shot during a struggle with a West Virginia trooper.
Investigators say the man stole a Bluefield Police cruiser, while in custody, around 11:45 Saturday night.
The suspect then led police on a chase, until he jumped out of the vehicle near the intersection of US Route 460 and Country Girl Road in Green Valley.
A trooper caught the suspect as he was running up a hill.
While he was trying to take the man into custody, the suspect grabbed his gun and wouldn't let it go. That's when the trooper shot and killed him.
The name of the suspect has not been released at this time.
