The Alum Creek Volunteer Fire Department has been working to make sure people without power are staying hydrated.
The station has collected hundreds of cases of water to pass out to the community.
It's a similar scene at other fire stations all across the state.
Alum Creek firefighters have also been traveling to Hamlin to pick up ice and even some generators that will go to pumping stations.
Firefighters say they have received a whole lot of donations from both corporations and families, to help others through this tough time.
