Evening thunderstorms stir up trouble in Roane County Tuesday.
Roane County dispatchers started receiving calls just before 6:30 p. m.
Crews battled flames at a home on Triplett Road, just outside Spencer, after it was struck by lightning and caught fire. The same thing happened to a barn on Toms Run in Reedy.
Dispatchers also said the Man Trailer Court in Spencer received significant damage from thunderstorms.
