If you live in Kanawha Valley, you may need to boil your water.
West Virginia American Water has issued a precautionary boil water advisory for customers in the Upper Kanawha Valley Public Service District area of Kanawha County. The advisory affects about 275 customers.
This follows a boil water advisory that was issued earlier Monday by the town of Pratt, which provides water for the system.
If you live in upper Kanawha County, you should boil your water before consumption until further notice.
