A man who lost a bid for the House of Delegates is arrested after police say he threatened to kill his mother.
State police arrested Christopher Stratton after he allegedly got into a fight with his mother and sister.
Troopers say he threatened to cut his mother's head off with a knife.
He's also accused of choking his mother, and hitting his sister.
Stratton ran for the 24th District of the House of Delegates in May, and has also ran for the Logan County school board. Stratton also worked at the Logan Banner newspaper.
