Governor Tomblin signed an executive order creating a natural gas vehicle task force.
The Governor wants this group to determine whether the state can save money and reduce its reliance on oil by converting some government vehicles. The group will also study ways to build the necessary service stations.
Tomblin's opponent for governor, Republican Bill Maloney, came out in favor of converting the state's fleet to natural gas on his campaign's website nearly two weeks ago.
