A Kanawha City neighborhood is outraged over racist flyers they found in their yards Friday morning. The flyers were allegedly distributed by members of the National Alliance, an organization based in Hillsboro, West Virginia.
Residents on Washington Avenue in Kanawha City woke up to find rolled up papers in their lawns Friday morning. The flyers spell out hate and discrimination.
The handouts speak for themselves, stating "Don't have sex with blacks, avoid AIDS." The flyers even list alleged statistics about heterosexual black men and the disease. Neighbors who found the flyers were floored.
The flyers came from the National Alliance in Pocahontas County that preaches white supremacy. No one from the group returned our calls.
Residents on Washington Avenue say there is no hate within their neighborhood. Now it's a quiet neighborhood hoping a white supremacy group doesn't return for a second visit.
