A Kentucky man is facing a long list of charges after police say he allegedly raped a woman over the weekend.
Police say Gary Goff II, 33, of Pinsonfork raped the victim at a riverbank near Williamson in Mingo County Saturday night.
When he took off, the alleged victim called for help. Police say Goff attempted to ram police cars, only coming to a stop when he lost control of his truck and landed in a ditch. From there, police say he tried to punch officers and admitted to drinking at a nightclub in the area earlier in the evening.
He is charged with sexual assault, DUI, fleeing, battery and obstructing an officer. Goff remains in jail.
