A Raleigh County man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for a murder that happened in 2009.
Gerald Shulock, 51, of MacArthur got the maximum possible sentence for second degree murder in the shooting death of Anna Shores.
He had plead guilty in April. The victim was shot twice in the head in her Cool Ridge home.
