The State Special Olympics drew hundreds of athletes from across WV to UC Stadium this weekend. It's the one time a year kids and adults live for to showcase their talents.
Jessica Collins rooted on her son Timothy in the Lawn Bowling event and said, "It just warms your heart he can do this and like anybody else."
Tabitha Lair is volunteer and said, "It's like they won the lottery, they just want praise for it. They don't care if they won first or last place."
