A DOH worker has been hit on a work site on Interstate 77 in West Virginia.
It happened at the 96 mile marker in the southbound, near Belle, WV.
Witnesses say the DOH worker was using a compressed air unit while cleaning the side of the road and when he stepped back from behind the trailer another DOH truck driven by an inmate, on work release, hit him.
Witnesses say a lot of blood is on the road.
Officers on the scene said his injuries appear to be life threatening.
