We now know the name of the man killed in an accident on Route 35 in Mason County Friday evening.
Police say William Fontaine, of Columbus, hit the side of a semi-truck with his pickup. The impact then caused him to hit another semi-truck head on.
The pick-up then burst into flames, killing Fontaine instantly.
The accident happened on the stretch of road that has not been upgraded to four lanes. It is considered one of the deadliest highways in the country.

Crews are on the scene of a fatal accident on Route 35 in Mason County.
It happened near Pliny around 4pm.
Witnesses say the driver of a pick-up truck hit the side of a semi-truck, and then hit another semi-truck head on.
The impact caused the pick-up truck to burst into flames.
