Police say a man who went missing nearly a month ago is more than likely the body found along the Ohio River Sunday.
James Lawson was last seen April 28th, his car was found in West Huntington by the softball on James River Road.
Sunday night, police found a body they believe to be Lawson along the Ohio River near the Cabell - Mason County line.
Lawson's daughter, Whitney told Eyewitness News, "He was my best friend, now that he's gone it's horrible. I don't know why anybody would do that."
Police aren't releasing cause of death or if they have any leads. Anybody with information should call the Lawrence County Ohio's Sheriff's Department or the Huntington Police.
