Charleston police are searching for a man who robbed a woman inside the Town Center Mall.
It happened Tuesday night at the JC Penny department store. Police say an employee was coming back from the food court when a young white male, wearing a gray hoodie, approached her and put something that felt like a gun against her body. Police say he then demanded her purse. The employee handed it over and the robber took off out the Quarrier Street exit.
