George Jones fans will have to wait a little longer than expected to see him perform the tri-state area.
The Country Music Hall of Famer was set to perform in Huntington on June 2nd. That show has been rescheduled for Friday, September 21st at 7:30 p.m at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.
According to a statement from his publicist, the legendary country singer was admitted to a hospital in Nashville on Monday afternoon, where he will undergo testing and evaluation for a lingering upper respiratory infection. Jones’ illness has forced him to reschedule tour dates through June.
