In a matter of hours, two gas stations were held up in Huntington Sunday morning. - The latest crimes only add to a rash of armed robberies that have hit the city this week.
Huntington Police say Charles Wentz fled from police twice when they tried to question him about the robberies. Police say at one point, Wentz was hiding in a CSX rail car.
Wentz was on home confinement and was arrested on carjacking charges.
The robberies were hours apart. The first one happening at the 7-11 on 5th ave. around 5:30 a.m. A few hours later, at 8 a.m. another hold up at the BP gas station on Halgreer.
